Dental Implants

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are surgically placed into the jawbone. The artificial tooth roots are capped with a realistic aesthetic crown that is indistinguishable from the rest of your teeth. For those who are missing a tooth or several teeth, dental implants are a sturdier and more natural looking alternative to bridges or dentures. The artificial tooth roots are made of biocompatible titanium, allowing bone and gum tissue to grow securely around the implant. Our office specializes in crafting the aesthetic crown for the implant, as well as surgical placement of the implant itself. We can also make loose dentures more stable with the use of special implant denture attachments.

Digital X-rays

Though traditional x-rays emit a miniscule amount of radiation, new digital x-rays limit that exposure by 90 percent. Once taken, the digital x-rays are instantaneously transmitted onto a computer monitor for both you and the dentist to examine. Now both you and your dentist can discuss any dental work that needs to be performed, easing any anxiety you may have experienced in the past.

Intraoral Cameras

The tiny, safe, non-invasive intraoral camera is a remarkable diagnostic tool that allows us to easily capture images of the inside of your mouth. The intraoral camera is inserted into your mouth to take a picture. The image is then immediately displayed on a computer monitor. Like digital x-rays, you and your dentist are able to discuss any dental work that needs to be performed.

Non-Surgical Peridontal Care

Maintaining healthy gums is an important part of achieving optimal dental health. Apart from causing bad breath and red, swollen, or bleeding gums, gum disease can lead to tooth loss and a variety of other health problems. If we can detect and treat gum diseases early on, we can maintain the appearance of your smile and ensure the continued health of your mouth.

TMJ Treatment

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a source of pain and discomfort for many individuals. This remarkably complex joint is the point where the skull and the jawbone meet. Some people complain of clicking, popping, and locking at the joint and sometimes experience headaches, neck pain, earaches, and other forms of facial pain associated with TMJ disorders. At our office, we can provide effective treatment for a TMJ disorder, often taking conservative approaches to relieve discomfort and alleviate any problems you may have.

Sedation Dentistry

In order to reduce anxiety and discomfort, our office offers safe and effective sedation techniques if the patient so desires. We can use nitrous oxide to help numb you and keep you relaxed, or for more involved treatments, we use a sedative pill to ensure you do not feel any pain during a procedure. Your comfort is our first priority.
